Gear boxes

I have to replace my power steering gearbox again on my 95 CV LX. I must have gotten a bad remanufactured part or something, at least it's still under warranty. My question is this: What is the difference between the "Police" model and the basic gearbox? (other than about $60) Is it different gearing or something? Tighter steering, or looser? The compatibility list says that I can use either. After trying the basic one and getting a lemon, would it be better to get the "Police" model?

Re: Gear boxes

I think the Poilice option is a little quicker ratio so you don't have to turn the wheel as much.
