2004 taurus front stut

I have broken front strut springs on a 2000 taurus, picked up a set from 2004 complete with strut, spring, steering knukle, rotor, caliper, abs sensor.
Installed pretty easy untill i tried plugging in abs sensor.
Same connector, but keyed slot is 180 off. 2004 is white, 2000 is black
Can i use this 2004 abs sensor or do i need to swap steering knuckle, major pain because pinch bolt frozen, ect
Bone yard says stuts should be the same, but i dont think they considered the steering knucke--different size holes for abs sensor
Any ideas?
