Ya know what Slydar. The guys was just showing us something he found. You really don't have to hate. So what if you know more. That is why we come here to learn, there was a time when you had to ask questions. So, my point being, show a little respect to your fellow car enthusiests.

I hate to get in the middle of this but just because you know one thing he doesn't, doesn't make you more knowledgable about cars.

PS when are newbies gonna stop talking shit

I am just adding my $0.02. First of all anyone would know that it was a 2JZ-GTE from a JZA80 so that isn't so that isn't much knowledge at all and it was still mentioned in the read. The 2JZ-GTE is also standard equipment on the JZS147 and JZS161 3.0 V Aristo (Lexus GS300/400).
The 2JZ-GTE used in that Trueno must have been one between 93-97 because in late 98 I believe the engine was revised and VVTi was added hence there was a noticeable difference in the design of the Valve Cover. This new engine was also found on the JZA80 and Aristo. The read was a good one I enjoyed it quite a bit since I was browsing the internet for a few facts on the 2JZ-GTE which I will be modifying on my Aristo 3.0V .

It is better to keep your mouth close and allow people to think that you are a jerk, than to open your mouth an erase all doubt! Peace

There is also a AE86 in The Bronx with a 2JZ-GTE. Nice project indeed.

I know that car raced at Hunts Point. Not sure now, since NYPD has been running stealth patrols to snag racers...

Even though this thread is old, I think this guy is an ass. Fights on the internet and calls names, how original. Plus, there are not as many new threads to look at, but Il still think this guy is a retard.
