Tamiya M-B CLK 2000 Team D2 (plus lots of other pics!)

Here is my latest finished model. I used the SMS PE parts set and the paint is TS-17 gloss aluminum. The finish is 2 mist coats of Future (Klear) to protect the decals and then 3 mist coats and 2 wet coats of TS-13:

I took some artistic license with the PE badge on the air intake, it might not be 100% accurate, but I really like it.

Here are some shots of the Team D2 with the Team Original-Teile:

And here are some shots with the twin 2000 CLK's older brother:

Enjoy!

Thanks, Depinho. I'm sorry, I actually do not have any reference pics that I can send you.

I have had a really hard time finding any good pics for the 1994 DTM C class. Most of my references came from a Prokart-Zakspeed WIP thread from Antonio (AAmedia) here on the forum. I think there is a good 1994 DTM reference book/pit walk out there but I could not spend the money on it at this time.

I followed Robert's (Godfather23) Original-Teile build for some good referfences of the 2000 CLK cars. His build is much much more detailed than mine.

Happy Building

Nice C-Class & looks like you achieved the green/blue color on this kit! did you do the colors from the plans by Tamiya? I have the Prismatic scarabeus from Alclad II waiting on deck for this kit but am a little nervous using it at the moment, will it look dark enough?

That is exactly what my C class is painted with.
