money, want an s13/240
ok people, i have like 4,000 maybe and i mean maybe 5,000 for a car. recently i've become damn friggin obsessed with the 91-93 240. im trying to find one without and engine so i can put an sr20 in it. should i put the sr20 in it or leave the ka? and i have another question, if i put the sr20 in it would it make the car lighter because its a smaller engine. how much will an sr20 swap cost me if i swap it myself? any help would be greatly appreciated.

good god man, read the FAQ.
SR20 is lighter then KA because of aluminum vs. Iron block. don't try to install the engine by yourself without first learning EVERYTHING there is to know about the engine. do the suspension aspects of your car before swapping the engine. what's the point of having power when you can't control it? KA vs. SR is a never ending debate that depends on what you intend to use the car for. if you're into track racing/drifting, then SR would be a better choice. if you're into drag racing, then go KA-T. before you even buy the car, do alot of research and try to learn what you're getting yourself into. and read the FAQ next time before asking any questions that can easily be answered by looking at it.

what are you talking about? You didnt give us a specific question, but rather a huge long paragraph.

 if your lucky enough to find one with out an engine ill say go for it do the swap, lets just hope its not for all the wrong reasons. Its gona cost a whole lot too, depending on the SR20 you put in it can cost you an arm and a leg. Dont expect it to be cheap!! if you find one with a good KA in already dont do the swap my suggestion, get the feel of the car first the KA isent all the bad But then again who dosent want a TURBO!!!:licker: :silly2: :silly2: :sun: :flash:
