RR brake lights and blinkers don't work

I wonder if anyone with a Fiero has run into this problem before. The parking lights on the RR work fine(that are brown wires)but the blinkers and the brake lights on the RR(that are green wires)don't get hot with a test light at all. There is a relay on the firewall with green wires and I am getting continuity between that relay plug and the tail light sockets so I am assuming that there is no break in the wiring. I have also tried several flashers that are located on the passenger inside of the car with the same results. The RR parking lights are working fine and they share the same ground so the ground wire must be fine. Also the RF blinker is working fine. I am at a loss for what to check next so if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

Re: RR brake lights and blinkers don't work

I would say follow the wires into the relay and make sure that they are hot when the blinker is on. Then after that check just outside of the relay to make sure that it is exiting correctly. If it is hot then you know it's the wire between the relay and the rear. Where, i can't say but you'll know then. I'll see if i still have my fiero manual when i get back to my house around easter and see if i can help you out if there is still a problem
