Unhappy 04 mustang misses

I need some help with my o4 mustang gt. I has new stg 2 comp cams and stg 2 livernois heads. runs good when cold and hot. Sometimes it pops when i shift. It also feels like it misses when its wide open. My ignition system is stock and so are my fuel system. Any suggestions will be considered. thanks

Re: 04 mustang misses

Mine will do that if I have been running hard all day. When I stop for a few minutes (say at the light) and then hesitates when I try to go. In my case I think it was just because I was traveling and not letting it cool down much.
