Creaking front end

I have an 03 4x4 3.0 edge with 71k. It recently started making a creaking noise when starting and stopping from the front end. I do not know why. I visually inspected it all and all seems well. When froce is put on the front bumper downward it feels as if the truck is sticking as well as making the creaking sound. My only thought is bad socks? Any ideas....

The front sway bar bushings could be creaking. Spray them with some WD 40 which will last about 4 months unless it rains alot where you live. The best thing to do is get a needle adapter for your grease gun and grease them up with some white marine grease which is water resistant.
