1998 Eclipse 4cyl. Non-Turbo...Going Limp...Please Help! :(

Hi Everyone!
I am a newbie, so please guide me if possible. My situation is that my car was driving fine until last night. I was making a u-turn and started to drive and my car wasn't shifting into 3rd (it is an automatic). With the research I've done so far, it seems to be in limp mode. I drove it home, and a couple hours later, I drove to work and it seemed to be normal again. This morning, it went through the gears fine for me. However, when my girlfriend took the car to work, she called me and said it was doing the same thing! I don't know what to do. I will be pulling the codes tomorrow, but want to know if there is anything I should look for that may be a quick permanent fix? I love my car, and do not want to do any quick temporary fixes! Please help me out if possible! Thanks!

Re: 1998 Eclipse 4cyl. Non-Turbo...Going Limp...Please Help! :(

Just got some codes from the OBDII Scanner...

P0750-Shift Solenoid "A" malfunction
P0755-Shift Solenoid "B" malfunction
P0700-Transmission Control System-mil request

The guy at Autozone said to do a tranny flush, and if that doesn't help, I would need to go to the Mitsu dealership to get a shift solenoid.

The tranny fluid needs replaced, but there seems to be enough!

So, does this sound truthful, or is the guy just bullshittin'??
Let me know!
