zr2 4wd quesiton

i have a 03 zr2 4x4 with 96'000 miles on it! my ? is when in 4x4 is the frount wheels sopose to turn slightly faster then the rear whelles? the reason i know its doing this is because i put it up on jack stands and when in 4wd the front tires turn faster then the rear tires! and i'm also getting a real bad clunking noise from the tranfercase!! any ideas!! thanks

the clunk noise may be worn parts...check for wear in the drive shafts, excessive lateral movement...


the wheels moving faster in the front verses rear is very funny...
