no spark from ignition coil

Ok I will try to make this short but will try to include everything done to the truck before problem started.
The truck is 89 sierra 2500 5.7l v8 2wd. About couple of months ago it started overheating, coolant was pretty bad(rust), so I flushed it and also replaced the thermostat. Everything was fine after than but all of a sudden it started putting and will die. Someone suggested for bad catalytic converter(bad advice) .. so i replaced it , but now it wont even start. it cranks over, there is no spark coming out from the ignition coil, replaced the ignition coil but still it wont spark. I took the ignition control module to autozone and they checked it good. I am out of options to see what to check for now... any help will be great...
ps. i have checked all the fuses and they are good. checked the lead to the coil and there is juice.

thanks
