92 Skylark 3300, died, fuel pump? ugh, no
I have a 92 skylark with the 3300 in it, It died last weds while driving. Had it towed home. No pressure at the fuel rail and cannot hear the pump....
Replaced the pump inside the tank, I now have pressure at the bleeder at the rail (i dont have a gauge) I also took a spare spark plug and can see that i am firing. The car will not start.......? What to check next? Thanks Ted |

See if it starts spraying carb cleaner into the intake.

Re: 92 Skylark 3300, died, fuel pump? ugh, no
that is more life than i have seen in a week out of that engine........
It sputters and tries, but i cannot spray enough..... Ok, so it's not getting fuel? Why? it sprays out at the rail pretty heavily when i release the pressure there..... |
