95 sc2 motor swap with 99 sc2?

I have a 95 sc2 1.9L DOHC with a cracked block or manifold, not sure... I also have a 99 sc2 1.9L DOHC, not road-worthy, but motor has low miles and trans and clutch are brand new! Will the motor (most importantly) trans and clutch swap directly from the 99 to the 95 without problems or issues?

Re: 95 sc2 motor swap with 99 sc2?

Since you have the entire car ...yes. You will need to use the '99 manifolds, disregard the AIR System on the exhaust manifold though. It will just sit there but not hurt anything. use the '95 fuel rail and injectors. You will need to tap a hole for the second coolant sensor the '95 requires. Most put it in the top of the head where the top radiator hose connects to. its a 1/8 NPT tap. Use the '95 throttle body.
