Headlights

Has anyone tried the projector style headlights such as ones sold on the bay of e? Did the search thing for 20 minutes and came up empty.

ebay headlights shake with every little bump you hit in the road. its embarrassing. the cars in front of you and behind you can see your lights bouncing up and down on the road signs..... you get what you pay for....

And leak about 4 months after installing them. Save your money.

Thanks for the comments about the shaking. I can fix that. What I really wanted to know is the light output for the projector style light better than the stock lights? The stock light output is terrible, and I have tried silverstars and others.

6000k bi-xenon HID's helped me!

Are they REAL HID's or just HID "look?"

Mine are 100% real HID's. I would like to get a set for my fog lights too so they match, but I have heard of the HID's melting the fog light housings. So I'd rather not open up another whole can of worms.

$80 eh? I wouldn't have been able to resist either! I put regular 9007 bulbs in at 8500K and I might as well have not had headlights. When those went out I went to 7500K, and it was a little better but not much. I went to 7000K on the fogs and those are alright. Real HID's would be nice.

Yeah, my friend is a deal of them so he got me a steal. Let me know if you are interested. The kit comes with ballasts, bulbs, and all wiring. The bulbs are bi-xeneon which means they will be HID for both high and low beams. Which many on the net are not, so you have to be carfull of you will get a bulb that is HID on low and regular incondescant on high beam.

They were plug and play the whole way and took about an hour to rout the new harness and make all the connections.

I will find out on the price.
