don't know how you have been doing your maintenence....

with my vehicle the drive train fluids are all replaced every 30-40,ooomi...this includes front rear diff , tranfercase, and the transmission filter...the transmission fluid is now called dexronVI,,this replaced the dexron III that damages these transmissions..this was a service bulletin that GM set to the dealerships.

the coolant is replaced every 3-4 years dexcool @60% with distilled water...

the plugs need replacement @ 50,ooomi...thats all there good for...replace with the newer plug GM now recommends..

the air filter should be replaced every 15,ooomi or sooner

the IAC/THROTTLE BODY/MAF needs cleaning every 50,ooomi,,,

plug wires need inspection/resistance check,,,If original and resistance is higher than spec. replace at this time...

the upstream O2 sensors need replacing at the 100,ooomi mark,,,especially if you do a lot of stop/go traffic driving...these sensors usually throw a service engine light very quickly when they go out of range,,but the cat converter can get damaged if they don't work correctly and these converter are expensive..

the brake fluid should be given a good bleed to replace most of the fluid with new...this if done properly would need equiptment that cycles the ABS valves..

check and lube all front end componets ,,

I'm sure others have items that would be a good way to avoid problems..

Avoid having you transmission flushed and you will regret it.Most transmission shop will tell you this. One transmission shop in my area does tons of valve body cleanings due to flushes with the machine done.Put in 5w 30 oil in only or the lifters will rattle.Change the fuel filter which most people do not do because it is under the vehicle and it the most neglected filter that is not changed.A plugged up fuel filter will put a strain on the fuel pump and kill it.

Power steering is always overlooked. I like to take a vacuum pump (turkey baster will also work) and drain the pump, refill with fresh, start engine and turn wheel lock to lock, repeat until fluid looks clean. 2 or 3 times usually does the trick.

I have BIG problems with the owners manual...

brake fluid, power steering fluid, fuel filter, transmission servicing, and other items that are left up to you the owner to figure out...

example:went to the dearlership talked to service manager about when to replace the brake fluid..he stated it is good for the vehicles life...

I then said other manufactures recommend this be done yearly ,,and even have a monitor that tells the owner its time to replace...

GM products don't require this ,,because of the way they are designed..

these forums bring to the members many of these issues..and any changes made that the manufactures never notified the owners about..

If I worked at the dearship I would just recommend you have the dealership do what they think is best...at this mileage...
