Changing bulb in 3rd brake light

How do I change the bulb in the 3rd brake light located in the spoiler (02 Cavalier)? I removed the two screws but the lens won't budge. Please tell me that I don't have to remove the spoiler just to change a bulb!

Re: Changing bulb in 3rd brake light

Am I pulling hard to get the lens to come off or the unit to pop out?

Re: Changing bulb in 3rd brake light

Finally solved my problem. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remove the lens from the unit. I had to take off the spoiler to get to the sockets and found both bulbs were blown. I think that the PO must have glued the lens or heat has fused it. Anyway, my 3rd brake light now works!
