what it this part called?

I'm looking for the name of the yellow rubber part.
I was going to order it online for my 2000 Silverado 2500 4x4, but I don't know what it's called...
Anyone got the name for it?

Thanks,
Matt

Re: what it this part called?

Thanks. Now I just need to find where I can buy one. I guess I can always go directly to the dealer.

Thanks again,
Matt

Re: what it this part called?

My old one has cracks in it so it won't pass the Swiss inspection.... let's just say it's a little different than a Texas inspection.

Re: what it this part called?

what the? the swiss are obviously goofy. sure the guys aren't giving you the run around cause youre american?

also though, in the pic you are on the bumpstop. its not sitting like that always is it? it shouldn't even be close at static height.

Re: what it this part called?

The pic isn't of my truck, it's just a pic I found online.
Yep, the Swiss inspection is something else, and my broken german doesn't help.... I also need to replace my shocks, boots for the ball joints (they have cracks in them), and there cannot be fluid leaks anywhere, if they find a wet spot you don't pass inspection.

Re: what it this part called?

Check http://www.partstrain.com/ I bought a set for a Jeep Cherokee and they were much cheaper than the dealership and they were great quality. I am not sure about shipping to where you are, but check it out.

Sincerely,
Matt

Re: what it this part called?

that pic is of a 99 and up silverado and yes they sit on them at all times unless you turn the torsion bars to level them then it puts them about an inch away from your control arm.
