Ferrari F60 2009 Monaco GP

well I've been working at this model non-stop the past few days and was able to knock it out. Tameo did a fantastic job on this kit, everything fit pretty well, although some pieces needed to be touched up with putty because the molding was wrong,

This was the first points scoring race for Ferrari, and first podium of the year, its also the reconfigured chassis.

the rear wing and rear suspension was really the only tricky think to the car, I know I made some small mistakes, the left wing plat in the rear is a tad crooked but I have to live with it and the endplates on the front wing, the decals are off, but thats only from following the decal placement on the instructions.

Paint was Tamiya TS-49 Bright Red, then TS-74 Clear Red to darken, followed by TS-80 Pearl Clear, then after decals, Mr. Hobby Super Gloss Clear.

Renaissance Models Carbon Fiber was used for TV cameras, and the undertray, diffusers etc... all this was clear coated with Zero paints Cleat Coat.

Tameo does have the decals for the tires to make them as the other compound, but I didn't put them on because I build the car in how it started, if Tameo makes the Belgian GP (Which I'm sure they will, you'll see the green outlines on the tires.)

enjoy and thanks for looking, comments and questions are always welcomed

Steve

Re: Ferrari F60 2009 Monaco GP

thank you, personally I'm still trying to adjust to the cars, I find the RBR5, F60, and MP4/24 all ok, but the others are pretty bad.

I'm going back to the 2008 Spec cars next, building my first S27 model of the BMW Canadian GP win
