ABS Motor Continues to RUN
I am the proud owner of a 2001 GMC yukon 5.3L V8. I just recently got good info from this site about cleaning my intake for rough idle. Now my ABS Module motor continues to run non stop. I have read that Module Masters is the place that I need to send it to. My question is How do I get this thing off. Multiple break lines running to this thing. Any advice.

Re: ABS Motor Continues to RUN
You don't take those lines off. There are about 4 - 6 screws that hold the top on. You unscrew the whole module then disconnect the top. I sent mine to ABS Modules when that happened to me about 5 years ago. I bought my 2001 brand new. They fisxed it and sent it back no problems and save me tons of money.

Re: ABS Motor Continues to RUN
When you take off abs motor you need
to plug the brake lines i use fuel line plugs or you will need a lot of brake fluid also wear eye protection nothing burns like brake fluid also make sure you use a line wrench to make sure you don't make extra work by stripping line nut |
