Pressure Control Solenoid or what???

I know there are a lot of posts about the pcs but let me lay out my deal. It slips when automatically shifting from 1st to 2nd (15 to 20 mph) unless I manually put it in 1st gear and rapped it out to 25mph and then it wouldn`t slip when I would manually shift into drive. The car finally was shifting perfect for a couple of weeks. Then, I had to replace my battery. When I unhooked the battery cables and installed the new battery, the car began shifting worse than ever. Now, it not only slips from 1st to 2nd gear, it slips from a dead stop, it NEVER SLIPPED from a dead stop before I disconnected my battery. I can slightly tap the gas pedal from a dead stop and it will jerk into 1st gear. Otherwise, after I`m driving normal speeds and the tranny warms up, the tranny runs fine when in overdrive or drive. but from a dead stop, it does it all over again. I`ve disconnected the battery a couple of times to reset the computer if possible, nothing changes now.
One more thing, when I first start the car, it goes into gear fine, but the first time I stop and then take off, it takes a while to totally slip into gear, after about 10 minutes of driving it`s ok except it still slips from 1st to 2nd.
Has anybody else had these particular symptoms? Just trying to get any ideas why the car did so much worse when I had reconnected my new battery. Fluid and filter have been changed recently, no change though. Thanks!
