Dual Climate Zone problem
2004 GMC Yukon XL SLT K-1500 78000 miles
Dual Auto Climate Zone. Changed the battery the other day and now the passengers side blows hot air only even when it is set on 60. I can change the temp on the driver's side and rear air and it will blow hot and cold air accordingly but not passenger's side. Is this a common problem and is there an easy fix? I have not been able to find much info on this problem and any help would be appreciated. Ok, I finally found some info on this problem and I think it may be a calibration issue. Does anyone have a procedure for that? Last edited by OSUCowboy27; 09-07-2009 at 09:31 PM. Reason: Add info. |

Re: Dual Climate Zone problem
I think I fixed it. Here is what I did.
1) Turn key on 2) Turn off climate control 3) Turn key off 4) Pop hood and remove under hood fuse for the Radio for about 30 seconds 5) reinstall fuse and put everything back 5A) Pray 6) Turn key on and wiat 30 seconds 7) Turn on climate control and wait 30 seconds 8) Start engine and see if it works. |
