H22s cheaper in canada?

Recently, I met someone that told me this, is it valid? Said you can get them for around 8 or 900 dollars... To me, that's worth the drive.

Actually, the person who told me that said they were about 8 or 9 hundred SWAPPED! I find that hard to believe, but their uncle owns a very reputable shop around here. Said if you take US cash up there, they will do it for you.

maybe by that he meant its 8-900 just for the labor. that sounds much more likely because I highly doubt that they would go for that cheap. the cheapest I have seen is in fact out of canada from osaka, but thats still 1000 more than those prices.

yea its gotta be for labor alone, there is no chance that the whole motor plus labor is 800

Yea, I think the person I talked to was wrong about many things. They also said that lowering your 4gen lude screws with the ECU. I call bullshit on that (correct me if i'm wrong). I have never even heard of the suspension on a 4g being anywhere related to the ECU. Maybe on the 4WS model, but does the ECU even control the 4WS?

Even so, the person insisted that it was 800 or so for engine and swap.
