2002 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L SFI OHV I am hearing grinding noises from the front end

I am hearing grinding noises from the front end of the car

I believe it could be the left side wheel bearing.

I have jacked the car up and checked the wheels by grabbing them and trying to move them.

The left side(drivers) wheel I was able to move rocking it back and forth towards me.

The other side did not move

So I believe I need to change the Left side Hub/bearing assembly is this a lot of work ?

Just trying to decide if this job will be worth taking on

Any tips to make this job easy would be appreciated.

Thanks

how are the ball joints? usually if you can get that kind of play they might be on the way out.
do your tires have an unusual wear on the inside or outside edge of the tread like this? http://www.aa1car.com/library/tire_wear_toe.jpg

i suppose if there is a ton of play it could mess up some other things in there., but if its moving alot it could just be binding
