Moving to UK
Hey all. My wife and I will be moving to the UK from the US and we are going to need a vehicle soon after we get there. We can't afford to bring a vehicle from the states. We will be arriving in late January of 2010 and we will be in the Lakenheath area. If there is anybody there who is selling a reliable car, (doesn't have to be pretty or anything like that) please let me know. Also, just throwing it out there, where would be the best area to live in that is within a 40-45 minute drive of the Lakenheath area? I prefer rural, quiet, and fairly cheap. (around the 650-850/month area) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Lakenheath? I take it you're in the USAF and are based over here?
www.autotrader.co.uk is your friend. I'd reccomend a '98-'03 VW Golf TDI.
