99 Voyager power issues

I am really hoping someone has an answer for me.

I have a 99 Voyager, 200,000 miles on it. Runs like a dream. Few months back the driver side power window stopped working. We replaced the motor but it didn't help. It goes down but it needs manual help to go back up. Then the driver side wing in the back also will open and not close. Now I have found out that the horn doesn't work and the driver side Slider door will not lock using the driver side lock.
Seems like all the problems are driver side but they didn't all happen at once. What in the world could be the issue?

Seems the only common denominator is the 200,000 miles. These nickle and dime problems are going to happen.

Driver window - Pull the trim panel back off and see if you can find something binding. Maybe the side vinyle guides are gummed up. You might have put in a bad motor. If you just changed the motor concider changing the whole regulator assembly.

Rear vent window - The motors fail far too often.

Sliding door lock - Make sure the contacts of the front edge of the door are clean and contact marks are clearly in the center of the contact "pad" (my term). Other than that you'll have to remove the trim panel and investigate. Check for 12vdc at he lock actuator. If it's there replace the actuator. Had the same thing happen on my van years ago. Turned out the metal post the actuator connected to to move the lock mechanism snaped off. I welded a 1 inch screw in it's place to serve as the post. Worked fine since.

Horn - Could be just the switch on the horn pad but could also be the clockspring behind the pad especially if you're also having cruise control, airbag light or radio problems if equipped. What's a clockspring? A coil of ribbon wire behind the horn pad that maintains electrical contact between all the functions on the steering wheel and the rest of the van while turning the steering wheel. As you turn the wheel the wire coil extends or retracts. The good news? There's a lifetime safety warranty on clocksprings in 3rd generation vans (yours). Free replacement. Need to also check the relay and fuse in the fuse box (PDC) under the hood.

On your driver's side window, check the glass and make sure it's not loose, compared to the passenger side window which is presumably working properly. If it is too loose you'll have to take the door panel off and look at where it attaches to the lift mechanism. It is attached in two places along the bottom edge of the window. Most likely one of them became unseated. This happened to my '97.
Try moving the bottom edge of the window in and out to see which one became loose.
Take a flat screwdriver and pull out the metal retaining spring from the seat of the lifting mechanism. It is a silver color. Align the window pin into the seat and hold it in place while you snap the retaining spring back into place and you should be done.
