I dont think so, but he wouldnt murder you, it might be close. Give it a try and let us know what happens. Good luck with the race.

No.

An Integra Type R will thrash a base model Stealth ES.

Well a base stealth has about 164hp and a type-r has about 190hp. If the stealth has exhaust and a manual transmission he shouldnt be murdered to bad. Just hope the type-r cant drive. lol.

actually a base stealth and stealth es are two different cars. the type r shouldn't have too much trouble with a base (sohc), but an es (dohc) would be a bit more of a challenge, although the type r would prob win out since it has a better weight to hp ratio, all else being equal.

As far as I knew a ES/Base is a SOHC and a R/T is a DOHC and a R/T T/T is a DOHC twin turbo. Same as a 3000gt is SOHC and SL DOHC and VR4 is a twin turbo.

no 3000's came with the sohc motor, those were only found in the base model dodge stealths.

all es came with the same dohc motor that the rt came with, putting out 222hp.

so:

stealth, base - 164 sohc
stealth, es - 222 dohc
stealth, rt - 222 dohc
stealth, tt - 300 (320 2nd gen) dohc
3000, base - 222 dohc
3000, sl - 222 dohc
3000, vr4 - 300 (320 2nd gen) dohc

3rd gen (97-99) 3000's had slightly different hp numbers, but still no sohc.

only differences between an es and rt (and a base and sl for 3000) were trim and options.

safe travels.

NO WAY IN HELL, will a base model stealth beat a Type R! I used to toy with this one guys base stealth with my probe GT. And I was having enough trouble beating the GSR's around here (Sometimes lose) Before that he said it was a RT/TT, yeah with 5-speed, and sohc on the engine. But anyway no deal...
