sc300 or sc400??

im new to the forum and am entering the "import" market. im sure this topic has been overly discused so bear with me. i am really considering on purchasing an sc but i am torn. i currently own a 1995 mustang gt with a 5.0l v8. i know the sc400 have the v8 and i heard that it is hard to mod?? i know the sc300 has the 2jz-ge non turbo supra motor. i'm not planning on not having a drag car but i want it to be a street and sometime strip car. which sc would be a better choice for what i want to. any help would be really appreciated. thank you for your time
