2004 silverado 5.7 factory radio sound cd fm xm sound cuts off sometimes, a siren noise some times comes out a;sp a buzzin noise some other times is drivining me creazy i replace the radio but problem still there. haaaaaaaa helpppp....!!!

If you changed radios and it's still happening.. you have a problem with dirty source power or ground.
Try buying a choke from radio shack and attaching it as close to the radio as possible on the +12v wire You might want to try a new ground wire grounded out to a place on the chasis you've tested for a good connection as well. If this doesn't work; others will have to chime in.. Maybe your alternators going bad? |

If you have the prem sound system you most likely have an amp that is probably where your problem is.

I do have boss primium sound and it happens on cd radio fm and am not all the time but it happens even when the truck is off and alternator is running or not. what is the best way to tackle the amp remove them or bypass them with after market one..?
