Making your own glass? How do I do it?

I am trying to convert some models and the glass isn't right. Is there a way to make your own glass? Or do you just try to thermo form some clear sheets? Or am I just ?

Any help will be appreciated.

You need to make the negative of the part out of something hard and than use it to thermo form the final part using clear acetate. Can't think of anything easier right now.

Depends how complex the part you want to replicate is. If it's multi-curved then thermo/vacu-forming will probably be your best bet. There are lots of useful "how tos" on the web - I know, cos I've looked
