77 to 72 front end conversion
I was looking at purchesing a 77 el camino from a co worker, the body is ok but the motor is built i dont much care for the front ends on the 77, i was curious whether the fron ends of the 72 would fit with minor adjustments on the 77?

Re: 77 to 72 front end conversion
First off, the '77 is not even in the same generation as a '72. There are '68-'72 cars and then '73-'77 cars. These two groups only share mechanical and some chassis type components. If you want a '72, buy one. Don't go hacking a later car for no reason. Anyway, it would look damn ridiculous.
