Alternator Question
Hi Folks,
I recently picked up a 1995 GM that has an Alternator Issue. Barely pushes out enough power to sustain the Battery. The one that is presently in it is a 95 Amp Model. I have been seeing 130 Amps as the one for this car. How do I know which one is supposed to be in it. Do they have different connectors? I looked it up on Motorcraft.com by VIN and it points to the 130 Amp. That could be the issue as the 95 one would be underpowered. Any help here would be most appreciated. Thanks...MB |

Re: Alternator Question
The CVPI's came out with a 130 amp. Not sure about the GM, but they will swap without any modifications. Good luck.
