98 Golf GTI fires, but won't start

I have 1998 Golf GTI, it will fire but not start, I have replaced the distributor, plugs and wires, fuel pump is functioning, injectors have been cleaned. The 1st incident it quit while driving down the road, did the above repairs and took it down the road, appeared to be running and suddenly falls on its face, now it will not start. HELP

Re: 98 Golf GTI fires, but won't start

Ok i have a gti vr6, i was driving and all of a sudden my car just shut off in the middle of the road, we though it was the fuel pump and wires plugs, come to find my coil was jus unplugged, so check your coil make sure its plugged in, or you could need a new coil. Pretty expensive for one of those
