1999 Silverado Z71 4X4 Tranny

I have a 1999 z-71
take off in drive acts like it shift to 2 then straight to third
and if you manualy shift to second it acts like it shifts into nothing.....
what could be wrong.... changed the first to second selinoid already, im lost ...the old tranny's were simple...

place the shift selector in low,,,then slowly increase speed to 20mph place selector to 2nd,,,increase speed to 30mph then place selector to 3rd...

what happened ?

did you get engine rpm flare up,,slippage or prolong delay in engagement ??? etc..

When it shift to second it acts like it dont have one then it shifts to third fine
If it was an old tranny I would think second was gone... but just dont know that much about these electronic tranny's..lol

so when you start out in first gear [low] it is normal,,,then when you put the selector into secound it does not upshift to second, it stays in first???? is that correct????
