Water temp Sensor? Location 95 subaru impreza L

I want to thank everyone for helping with dignosing my car. I figured out how to pull the codes on my car, and i believe im getting a 2 long dashes and 1 short, which would be a (21) code error. I looked it up and its a water temp sensor.. its stuck sensing warm, when its actually freecold out here, in the 40 and 50's at night, and thats when i get the problems.

Can anyone help me find where this water temp sensor is located on the engine, this should be my last step. just put the part in and good to go hopefully.

Thanks everyone.

will.

Under the intake runners toward the back of the engine slightly to the passenger side.

well ironic enough, i love my mechanic. But he is not easy on my wallet. Big jobs. Like the two new axels i just had him put on and 4 new tires. and brakes. and the power stearing Lines. and new brake lines. I think he can forgive me for changing my own sensor. But bringing it to a machanic for easy do it yourself fixes. is much more realistic than going broke over a sensor.

he got my $1200 bucks of work this year off me. im not going to bother him with small stuff. HAY MEchanics out there. Love you guys, thanks for saving me some cash. Much Apreciated. Note. i didnt say anything bad about it. I should have worded it, I saved my mechanic from having to sweat the small stuff, and saved him on a petty job. and a few bucks in my pocket. WIN Win.
