Where to get the scew fasteners for the hood/trunk?
Well it finally happened... after posting about how I had no trunk lid problems one of the screw fasteners loosened up and came out allownig the T-handles to come loose... that sure looked good flapping behind me on the front straight at VIR and of course it happened right after the entrace to pit road so I had to do a whole lap slow.
I need to replace the one and get some spares. The body work has provisions for a screw fastener on each side and 3 accross the top. We're not using the side ones so I'll drill those out too.

I wouldnt bother buying anymore of the screw fasteners Brian. It will just happen again. Just swap over to Dzus fasteners on the leading edge and problem solved. This is what I did after the first time out in the car when my "bootlid air brake" activated............. Kel.

I like that... maybe we should make it controllable from the cabin. I'd be like the bugatti veryon!
