Aston Martin Color...Where I can find it?

I wonder if someone can help me finding this color from the early '60's named Caribbean Pearl Blue Metallic used on the Aston Martin DB4. I had already tried autocolorlibrary.com and paintscratch.com with no success. Here's is a couple of pictures, I hope it can help:

Thank you!

I already looked in his page and didn't see anything like this at least under the Aston Martin name, mostly racing stuff oriented. Anyway I will try to ask him or if he reads this maybe could let me know. Thanks!!

Been in touch with Aston martin today, and they don't even have a code for there colours, they are currently using Du-Pont as there paint supplier, if you get in touch with them and give them the colour name, they should be able to mix it for you.

I use this site:
http://www.sherwineu.com/Color/Formu...S/default.aspx

They have a lot of paint inf, you can get paint code or even formula for making it.

If you can locate a source of Mipa brand of paints, try this: http://www.mipa.de/mix4win_online/st...php?sprache=gb
If you select Aston Martin and color group blue effect, the Caribbean Blue Metallic is the first hit, so they have a formulae of it!
I use almost exclusively their paints

Re: Aston Martin Color...Where I can find it?

Guys, great sites, specially the Mipa from Tervo. The problem is that I'm in Puerto Rico and there'no Mipa brand dealers here. I tried with a Dupont dealer last saturday using the code for the caribbean blue and they mixed me a color that is far away from the one is in the picture. From that list maybe the Islay Blue can be. Thanks anyway, I will continue trying with these sites.

Re: Aston Martin Color...Where I can find it?

Finally... I found the color. An error in an email from Aston Martin UK cost me around $80. They gave me code #2627. For those interested in, the real code is #2027, PPG code #16826 What can do just a number! Also, the name of the color it's not Caribbean Pearl Blue, it's Chinchester Blue Poly. After some links that I got here and some guessing, I got it! Thanks a lot to those who tried in any way to help me, specially nomad fsoak and Tervo, who geme the sites to lead me to the color...thanks guys!

Now, I have a thread to start...
