need some info think you

hello my name is steve i have a 94 ford explorer
it is rough idleing so bad it almost seems like it is fireing backwards ,it bogs down when it is put in drive no power at all .
it has new plugs ,ive checked the coil pack to see if it fireing and it is ,it has a pretty blue spark.i was sujested to change the avac sensor ,the idleing control sensor has been changed .i dont have any problem 's with older vehicle 's with no sensor's but these new ones has me boggled ,think you for any sujestion's im fixing to do the process of a limination

Welcome to the forum!

You need to check for vacuum leaks.

I'm not sure what the AVAC sensor would be. In the other post of yours you mention it's the round thing on top of the injectors. That would be an electrical connector, but it's typically more rectangular than round. Would you be thinking of the fuel pressure regulator? I see you distinguish between this "avac" sensor and the Idle Air Control. Have you checked all the intake air tubes as well to make sure they are properly connected? Does your '94 have a Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor? If so, make sure it is connected electrically and mechanically.
