will a 1992 ford explorer xlt 4x4 trans bolt up to a 1994 ford explorer 4x4??
The transmission on my 94 ford explorer XLT 4x4 went out on me and i need to know if a trans from a 92 ford explorer XLT 4x4 will bolt up with no problem.

Probally not,the electronics are differant and most Ford transmissions have a one year interchange.Call a wrecking yard that has this interchange book,the Hollander.Ford loves doing 6 month changes.
