car stalls then wont start

i own a 92 buick lasabre it runs good most of the time but here lately it has been dying wile we r driving down the road and it has to sit for 20 to 30 minutes before it will start again please help me

Sounds like the typical crank position sensor (CKPS) failure to me, but it could also be the ignition control module (ICM); both can be heat sensitive.

i have a 92 buick. like hot z said it could be cps or it could be the fuel pump check the pressure when it is warm should be 35 to 42 psi and next time listen and see if you here the pump run if this happens . some time when cps go bad you can be driving at speed then the car like stop then runs or buck then it fine see if there are any codes stored then get back to us there are plenty of people here to help

Sure sounds like the crankshaft position sensor is going out on you. I had these same symptoms on my '95. The service code pointed to the *cam* sensor, which was not the problem. I didn't know it at the time, but this is a fairly common issue. If you want more details, check out the thread I started several years ago on that issue (thread now closed).
