92 gp driver side window

my 92 gp's driver side window has some issues.
when i put the driver side one down, it stops a third of the way down until i push the window down a lil and it goes down by the button and stops with a third of the window still hanging up. push it down a lil and it will go all the way down with the button and vise versa.

what should i look at to fix this

Re: 92 gp driver side window

Take the inner door pad off and look for rust and dirt/debris in the window channel that the rollers of the regulator ride in. It's a common issue on these cars, and a free fix if it's just dirt. Years ago my parents had a van with a similar design regulator and drove it for months before telling me the passenger side window wasn't working without helping it. I took the door pad off, cleaned out a ton of pine needles (they had a pine tree next to the driveway) and the window worked perfectly after that.
