Stock Civic Lx 4g Audio

Generally in the stock lx's, is the receiver a shaft or din style? I have the crutchfield mastersheets and they have both shaft and din. Mine doesnt have a din sleeve on the stock radio, so does that mean mine is shaft? Then.. when I install a new cd player, Would I need to put the Din sleeve it came with on? Or not?

Damn man I cant even decipher what the fuck you are trying to say, but all you gotta do to put a new stereo in your car is get a wire harness, wire that shit up to your stereos wire harness, and then slide that shit into the dash using the sleeve the stereo comes with.

you are correct Melt. all Honda radio's are held in with bolts.

In this case there is two 8mm bolts behind the radio holdig it in place.
The easiest way to get to them is to remove the radio housing.

i don't know why your crutchfield thing shows shaft style mounts in a 4g lx. shaft style is like the old knob style tape decks that you can find in really old cars. not even the stock lx tape deck is shaft style. that is just weird.
