97 grand am engine swap

Does anyone know if a 2.4 out of an 2001 sunfire will fit in my 97 grand am that has the quad 4?

If the engine mounts are in the same location, it should fit, and the sensors are the same. Sometimes, from year to year, they changed sensors from a 1 or 2 wire to a 2-3 wire. And some are even attached with different threaded parts.

You would get a few more Hp out of the newr Quad4.
