Help - need info on Town and Country
Some moron managed to total my 2000 Chevy Venture. I can only afford about 7-8K.
I'm looling for a new mini van. Are there known problems with the T&C? For example, the 1998-2002 Chevy Venture had antifreeze that destroyed the lower intake manifold gasket, so I know to stay away from those model years. So I'm looking at 2003-2005 T&C, what problems are there with these model years? |

Re: Help - need info on Town and Country
Whoa Nelly, I have a '96 Caravan Sport with 3.3 liter V6, only has 122,000 miles on it and here is waht IO have done to it:
1. Water pump at 47,000 miles. 2. Fuel Pump at 75,000 miles. 3. Rear Shocks at 75,000 miles. 4 All brakes at 99,000 miles. 5. All belts and hoses at 90,000 miles. 6. Front struts at 100,000 miles 7. And the winner is transmission rebuild at 116,000 miles. So there is my experience with the machine, I would say the weak point is the transmission on these cars, some have had no issues but others have had a lot of transmission problems. |
