Angry 97 Bravada/ no ECM ign power

Been working on a 97 Olds Bravada that had stalling problems. No codes. Replaced bad fuel pump and got same results. Now the engine will crank, but I have no power to instrument cluster, mil etc. The windows lights and stuff like that work, but I checked for power at fuse box and found no power to the fuse ecm ign. I even replaced the pcm. Could it be a broken ground. Have power to pcm but not out.

Welcome to the Form. The trouble you just describbed sounds like the Ignition switch module (Black Box). in your steering column. Here is a link that can help you in replacing the switch. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...gnition+switch
Let us know how you come out.

Re: 97 Bravada/ no ECM ign power

Hey Gabe, Ignition switch was the ticket. Really puzzled me when it was running then shut it off for a minute then absolutely nothing. I hate diagnosing electrical. Our shop is still running off of a brick. Customer and myself are satisfied. Thanks a bunch. Great forum here. Will be back more.
