Turns on and shuts off

I have a 2000 Galant 4 cylinder, when I start it, it turns on for about 30 seconds up to 2 or 3 minutes but then shuts off. If I hold the gas pedal down and turn the key it stays on as long as I keep it acelerated, when I let go of the gas it shuts off. Also when this problem started the check engine light turned on. When I put the computer on it it marks the cam sensor, but when I did the test it came out good, I also erased the check engine light and the car ran fine for 1 day and started the same problem again.

Check your harness wires on the cam sensor...they may be frayed or loose...My brother had this same problem and it was the wires.
