Engine swap

my 94 E32 730i is having a engine from a 95 540i (4.4ltr) fitted to it (yup by me...) I am all but done, however the I cannot find anywhere on the front eng casing to attach the crankshaft sensor, where is this bracket on the 4.4?
the 730 eng has a bracket for the sensor right at the front and it takes the signal fron the front pully/harmonic balancer, there isnt such a bracket there for the 4.4
