Evaporetor core

Olds 98 Reg. Elite/1991 with 64.000 ml on it.
I have a bad evaporetor core. My AC is dead and whem put pressure in the lines I can hear the air escaping under the dash.
Someone here could tell me if the box with the blower,evaporetor and flaps can be took out for the engine bay side or I will need to took out the panel dash for to acess it?
Any tips will be welcome.

Check the info at autozone.com repair guides, just register and you are in, I assume you have access to R12 freon.
