2 Wheel Drive to 4 Wheel Drive

I was wandering if it would be possible to switch a 95 s10 with 2 wheel drive to a 4-wheel drive vehicle.. For example find a junked vehicle and use the components on it to make mine 4 wheel drive. I am quite aware that if it was possible it would be a week or more work.. My main concern is the Engine size. As I have a 2.2L (4 cylinder). Would that engine have enough power to make it run the 4 wheel drive components?

If it is running good it will.
And if not you always have the low range.

But the best way to go from 2 W to 4W is to drive it down to your new or used car dealer and drive a 4W away.
4W prices are way down they might even pay you some to trade.
