Any issues with 2007 LTZ's?

I am looking at a 2007 LTZ with around 33k miles. I have been searching the web to find out if there are any major issues with this model year car. I have read a lot of complaints about rear alignments. Is this as big of an issue as it seems?

Also, are there any other major issues that I need to be concerned with on this car?

Thanks.

Re: Any issues with 2007 LTZ's?

I have a 2007 LTZ and am still fighting the rear alignment issue. I go thru rear tires every 10 - 18k miles without fail. It has been aligned a couple times. Just got off the phone with GM service and they don't acknowledge any issue with the LTZ's, only the police model. They indicated that the fix that they have engineered for the police model wont fit the LTZ. Not sure if that is true or just a smoke screen. I wouldn't take the chance on a 2007 LTZ.

Sounds like a typical response from GM.

Why can't automotive company's admit that they have a defective product and offer to fix it without the consumer having to pay for repairs for obvious defects.
And they wonder why customer satisfaction is low and people just move on to Japanese cars.

I guess that is whats called, passing the buck.

doesn't only affect LTZs either I don't think. When we pulled the Alloys with the integrities off of our 07 LS to put winter wheels/tires on we discovered some nasty uneven wear. I'm waiting to see how long before my 09 LTZ eats the first set of rears.
