Starting issues 91 3800 3.8L

I have gone through two batteries already, the most recent change of battery was due to a leak coming from the battery.

I changed the starter (purchased from Autozone) about 4 months ago. Every time I check the alternator at autozone it passes the tests with their diagnostic machine.

When I turn the key I get nothing no sounds, clicking, or buzzing. The dashlights do turn on though. This was happening to me for a couple of weeks, until a whirring sound was heard then car was totally dead-no lights, power locks etc..., before I changed the most recent battery change (the leaky battery).

Any help or tips would be apreciated, thanks in advance. (more info about car in my signature if needed)

Check the battery cables both positive and negative also check the grounds to make sure they are not corroded. The cables can corrode internally and cause the resistance to be so high that the voltage will not travel down the cables and everything will go dead and the battery will drain.
